"Pilots" nozīme:

1. Lidotājs – persona, kas vadīt lidmašīnu, helikopteru vai citu gaisa kuģi.
Piemērs: "The airline is hiring experienced pilots for long-haul flights."

2. Pilotprojekts/programma – izmēģinājuma vai testēšanas projekts, kas tiek īstenots ierobežotā mērogā pirms pilna ieviešana.
Piemērs: "The company launched a pilot program to test the new software in three branches."

3. Vadīt (pārn.) – virzīt, vest caur sarežģītu situāciju.
Piemērs: "She piloted the new law through parliament despite opposition."
